Introduction and Who We Are
Semantic Triple provides the Semantic Triple: Entity Triple Extractor and related educational pages. This policy explains how we handle information when you use Semantic Triple online. We aim to be transparent about client side processing, optional analytics, and advertising technologies that may run on the property.
The data controller for this site is the Semantic Triple project team. You can reach us at haithemhamtinee@gmail.com for privacy questions. If you disagree with this policy, please discontinue use of the site.
This document describes processing in plain language while still meeting the expectations of regulators and informed users. We separate browser local processing from network transmissions so you can understand what stays on your device versus what might reach analytics or advertising partners. When we reference Google services, we do so because those products are common in independent publishing stacks and because readers deserve explicit notice rather than vague references to unnamed vendors.
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights that apply to you based on your country of residence. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. We encourage enterprise customers to maintain internal records when employees use Semantic Triple on company devices so your own security team can reconcile this policy with corporate standards.
What Data We Collect
When you paste text into the extractor, that content is processed locally in your browser to generate triples. We do not receive your pasted text unless you separately email it to us. When you attempt a URL fetch, your browser requests the destination directly, which means the remote server may log a routine access entry.
We may collect usage data such as page views, approximate location derived from IP, device type, and referral information when analytics or advertising partners are active. Cookies and similar technologies store identifiers as described later in this policy.
If you email us, we collect your address, any names you provide, and the contents of your message. If you attach screenshots, those files may include incidental metadata such as timestamps or window titles depending on your capture tool. We do not request government identifiers unless a legal process explicitly requires them and we have verified the request.
Server logs maintained by hosting providers might record IP addresses, user agents, and request paths whenever you load assets from our origin. We do not control every layer of infrastructure, so we describe categories honestly rather than promising perfection. When feasible we prefer configurations that aggregate logs quickly and restrict internal access.
How We Use Your Data
We use aggregated usage information to understand which articles help readers, to improve performance, and to plan product updates. If advertising is enabled, data may inform ad delivery and frequency capping. We do not use pasted extractor content for training third party models because that content remains local.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use essential cookies required for basic functionality such as remembering cookie consent choices where implemented. Analytics cookies help us measure traffic patterns. Advertising cookies may personalize or limit repetitive ads. You can control many cookies through browser settings as outlined in our Cookies Policy.
We avoid fingerprinting techniques that reconstruct identity from subtle device signals. If industry standards change, we will update this policy and the Cookies Policy together so you are not forced to hunt for scattered notices. Where consent banners appear, we aim to present choices that reflect granular categories rather than misleading bundled defaults.
Third Party Services
We may use Google AdSense to display advertisements and Google Analytics to measure site usage. Those services process data under their own terms and privacy policies. They may set cookies read by Google domains. We configure tags to respect applicable consent rules where required.
Your Rights Under GDPR
If GDPR applies, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding personal data we control. Contact haithemhamtinee@gmail.com to exercise rights. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
We may ask reasonable questions to confirm identity before fulfilling requests that could expose another person's data. If a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, applicable law may permit a fee or refusal, but we will explain the rationale. Automated decision making with legal effects is not a core part of Semantic Triple, and we do not sell personal information in the sense used by certain United States state laws.
International transfers, if they occur through vendor networks, rely on standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms recognized by regulators. We monitor guidance from supervisory authorities and adjust vendor configurations when new obligations emerge.
Data Retention
Email correspondence is retained as needed to resolve inquiries and meet legal obligations. Analytics and advertising logs follow Google default retention unless we configure shorter periods. Local browser processing leaves no copy on our servers by default.
Backups may temporarily retain deleted content until rotation completes. If you need expedited deletion, mention that explicitly so we can coordinate with providers. Security incidents trigger separate retention timelines designed to preserve evidence for investigation and notification duties.
Children Privacy
Semantic Triple does not target children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child provided data, contact us so we can delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect new features or legal requirements. The last updated date appears at the top and substantive changes will be described here or in a notice on the site.
